Dr. Anayiotos attended medical school at the National University of Greece in Athens. His neurology residency was at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York, where he completed additional fellowship training in Neuromuscular diseases and electromyography. He has been in practice with our group since 1977. He is board certified in neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, and also in electromyography by the American Board of Electrodiagnostic Medicine. He is director of the local Muscular Dystrophy Association clinic. In addition to his general neurology practice, he has a special interest in neuromuscular disorders, including muscle disease, myasthenia gravis, neuropathy, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, and electromyography.
