Dr. Anayiotos attended medical school at the National University of Greece in Athens. His neurology residency was at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York where he completed additional fellowship training in Neuromuscular diseases and electromyography. He has been in practice with our group since 1977. He is board certified in neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, and also in electromyography by the American Board of Electrodiagnostic Medicine. He is clinical assistant professor of neurology at Drexel University College of medicine. Dr. Anayiotos, is interested in the diagnosis of pain, and believes that pain is not a disease, but a symptom that should be evaluated by a neurologist in order to make a precise diagnosis. In addition to his general neurology practice, he has a special interest in neuromuscular disorders, including muscle disease, myasthenia gravis, neuropathy, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, and electromyography.

Noah R. Gilson, MD

|
Dr Gilson attended Loyola University School of Medicine in Chicago. His neurology residency was at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City.
He has been in practice with our group since 1986. He is board certified in neurology and Vascular Neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. He is section chief of neurology and medial director of the stroke program at Riverview Medical Center.
In addition to his general neurology practice, he evaluates children for learning disabilities for several school systems. He also sees children age 5 and above for a variety of disorders including headache and ADHD.
Dr. Gilson also has been named named a 'top doc' in the New York metropolitan area by Castle Connelly and the New Jersey Monthly Magazine.
He also has a love for photography and his partners have graciously allowed him to adorn all available wall space in the office with his pictures.

In addition to his general neurology practice, he has a special interest in neuromuscular disorders, including muscle disease, myasthenia gravis, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, peripheral neuropathy and electromyography. He also has special expertise in nerve injuries, and is an active participant as neurologist and electromyographer to the New Jersey Institute for Advanced Reconstruction at Monmouth Medical Center.

Joshua T. Mendelson, MD

Dr. Mendelson is a graduate of Emory University and attended medical school at St. George’s University. His neurology residency was at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, where he was awarded the 2006-7 Neurology Residents’ Appreciation Award by the teaching faculty. He later went on to complete a fellowship in clinical neurophysiology at Emory University with a special concentration on the medical and surgical management of epilepsy.
Dr. Mendelson is board certified in neurology and is board eligible in clinical neurophysiology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
He is medical director of the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit at Monmouth Medical Center.
He has special interests in the treatment of epilepsy during pregnancy and children with febrile seizures, and has authored book chapters on these subjects. He had extensive training at the Thomas Jefferson University Comprehensive Headache Center in the treatment of migraine and chronic daily headache, and has presented research on their treatment at the International Headache Society conference.
